If you get resort credits at LA you get $50 per day or $100 for a suite and can be sued fully at spa, wine etc. Resort credits at STV is broken into small amounts.like $20towards a spa treatment. STV has some lovely decor and although a small foot print they used the space wisely. If you got Preferred at STV you get a few little bottles of liquor. LA has a swim up pool but it is separate so those that want lively can go there while the rest tends to be more laid back. We actually preferred the food and service st Secrets Silversands but the beach is not nearly as nice.īoth have membership sales. The cabanas win at LA and if you got a Honeymoon suite at STV there are no cabana that go with your upgrade. There are a few cabanas at STV first come very early in the mornjng. The Preferred Club is not nearly as nice as the Aqua Club. I would only go Preferred at STV to get access to the preferred pool. ![]() LA has a much longer beach front with a long distance before a condo on one side and the other side has a Westin which is a huge long beachfront with people not close to LA.īoth have nice cafe goodies. The reg rooms at STV are side on views which are still really lovely. The Honeymoon Oceanview is closer to the lagoon with an Oceanview not Oceanfront. I see you are looking at an Aqua Suite so a comparison at STV would be the Preferred Club Honeymoon Suite Oceanfront. People say this has improved but some review do still talk about this. For my husband that is a positive as he wears a suit a lot at home and loves to have th option to be more relaxed on holiday, Service at LA is far better in my experience and STV pushed upgrading wine and when we didn’t they weren’t very friendly. Dress code at STV is long pants for men at all but one restaurant and only one at LA. The food was very good but LA wins and has more dining options especially at lunch. The balconies for the basic rooms are bigger but not private. The rooms seem bigger at STV as there is an open concept bathroom with no tub. STV is a high rise on a small piece of land so a smaller property with many rooms. Had great trips to both but like LA far more. ![]()
